Why I made this
Hi, I'm Jack. I've created this site as a little songwriting/producing club. This is inspired by many in-person songwriting groups as well as sites such as Songs Alive, I Heart Songwriting Club and 100 Days of Songwriting.
Why ANOTHER site? I like writing software, and AI (I know, I'm sorry) has made this easier. So this site has just what's required, good performance, and is easy to read.
This site is currently invite only. If you're interested, reach out at jack@moo.media, and I'll see if there's a group with some space :) .
Your work stays yours
A plain promise about the music and words you put here:
- You keep full copyright and every right to everything you upload.
- Posting only grants the minimal licence needed to store your files and show them to your group. Nothing more.
- We will never sell your work, hand it to anyone else, or use it to train AI models.
- You can download everything anytime, delete any song from its edit page, or delete your whole account whenever you like.
Upcoming ideas
A rough sketch of where this might go. No promises on timing:
- Record in the browser: capture a take right here, no separate app needed.
- Audio comments: sing or play your feedback instead of typing it, on songs and in group chat (a maybe).
- Recording snapshots: a peek at how a track was made (a big maybe).
